God brought me a place to live this week.  it is better than my wildest dreams.  it is the perfect price.  it is about 3 blocks from church.  it is with girls i think i'm going to love...okay, i only know one of them, but i love her.

i stand amazed.

i get to start moving in May 26.  i'm so ready for May 26 to be here.  by then, i will be done with finals, i will be making more money [as a waitress on top of a barista...wait, that doesn't sound right...a waitress along with a barista...whatever], i will have time to do all the funness i've been wanting to do, and i will LIVE IN A NEW HOUSE!  no more driving 30 minutes from town to home every day.  no more no more no more.

sleepy...but still need to write a paper.  so no sleep.  May 26 is not yet here.

at the library. again. i love this place. i get so much done here.

illustration of how much more I have to study at Baylor: i haven't worked out in almost two weeks. not because i don't want to. and i'm even working less. it's just that time-consuming.

back to environmental science test prep.

things i like about my American Lit professor, Dr. Walker-Kennedy:

1. she got married for the first time as a virgin when she was 53 and mentions the fact at least once a class period.
2.  before said marriage, she recieved 12 proposals.
3.she has bright red hair and pats it whenever she's talking about women writers.
4. she pitches her voice extremely low when she's quoting male writers.
5. and, my personal favorite, she wears Z/1 Chacos with black panty hose.

things i like about my manager, Matt:

1. he's naming his baby Naomi Rain.
2. he's constantly reading relevant books, about Islam or Africa or something.
3. he calls everyone to very high standards and lives there himself.
4. when i asked him what he did on his three days off, he said he took some bike rides downtown on his 1972 bike he bought at a flea market for $5 and to which he attached a milk crate to carry books and trail mix.
5. he thinks i know something about music just because i recommended Iron & Wine and he had never heard of them (he loves reggae).
